Meizu had launched the Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Plus and Meizu M15 (aka Meizu 15 Lite) in April in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the company.. Meizu is currently working on the Meizu 16 series. Meizu founder Huang Zhang has already confirmed that the Meizu 16 series will be made official in August this year. Fresh information reveals that the Meizu 16 series will include two phones namely Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 PRO. Multiple tipsters have revealed the full specifications and pricing of the Meizu 16 duo.
Meizu 16 and 16 PRO Specifications (Rumors)
The Meizu 16 and 16 PRO are likely to house 5.6-inch and 6.1-inch displays. These phones have notch-less display with tall aspect ratio. The PRO model is expected to have a thickness of 7.2mm.
The Meizu 16 may have a 3,080mAh battery with support for 24W charging whereas the 16 PRO could be packed with a larger 3,600mAh battery that will enabled with 32W super-fast charging and 10W wireless charging.
The Meizu 16 duo are rumored to be fueled by the powerful Snapdragon 845. These phones are also speculated to feature in-display fingerprint scanner. Some of the features that could be available on both phones include AI-driven 20-megapixel front-facing camera, 12-megapixel dual rear cameras, Flyme 7.5 that is enabled with full-screen gestures, 3D Press, NFC, AI capabilities and more.
The above image that have surfaced through patent filings of Meizu suggest that the Meizu 16 duo may arrive with the same design.
