The rumor mill is now actively revealing information on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 flagship phone. It goes without saying the manufacturer will be launching the Note 9 with improved specs over the Galaxy Note 8 phone from last year. As far as the appearance of the Note 9 is concerned, a recent report has revealed that Samsung won’t be introducing any major change in its design. A new image of the screen panel of the Galaxy Note 9 that has been shared by reliable tipster @IceUniverse revealed that its front design will be almost identical to the Note 8.

The leaked image reveals that the cutouts for the sensors, earpiece and front-facing camera on the upper bezel of Note 9 is similar to the cutouts found on the front panel of the Note 8. The bottom bezel of the Note 9 appears to be a bit thinner than the predecessor model.

Rumors have it that the Galaxy Note 9 will be equipped with a Super AMOLED display of 6.38 inches. The Infinity Display of the Note 9 will allow it deliver QHD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Samsung has reportedly reduced the thickness of the display glass by 0.5mm to ensure that the smartphone offers better grip.

The Exynos 9810 chipset by Samsung is expected to power the Note 9. Some regions like the U.S. and China are expected to get the Snapdragon 845 variant of the smartphone. The Note 9 is likely to feature 6 GB of RAM. It is pegged to come in storage choices such as 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. A new leak has revealed that select markets may get the 512 GB edition of the Note 9.

The dual camera of the Galaxy Note 9 is expected to carry support for variable aperture like the Galaxy S9+. The phablet may receive power from a massive battery of 4,000mAh capacity.
