At the beginning of this year, Sony had launched the Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra smartphones. Today, Sony has added another member to the XA2 family by announcing the Xperia XA2 Plus smartphone. Except for the inclusion of an 18:9 aspect ratio screen and 6 GB RAM, the XA2 Plus borrows its specs from XA2 and XA2 Ultra.

Sony Xperia XA2 Plus Specifications and Features

What’s interesting about the Xperia XA2 Plus is that it features the trendy aspect ratio of 18:9 but retains the same 6-inch IPS LCD screen that is available on the Xperia XA2 Ultra. The display is well-protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Also, like the Ultra model, the XA2 Plus is powered by Snapdragon 630 SoC.

The 32 GB storage model of the XA2 Plus has 4 GB of RAM whereas the 64 GB variant includes 6 GB of RAM. It includes support for microSD card through a hybrid SIM slot. The smartphone is preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo. It borrows the 23-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture that is available on the XA2 and XA2 Ultra models.
