Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor along with Adreno 630 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot support that enables users to further expand the phone’s storage capacity up to 400GB.

As for the optics, there’s a 19-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, predictive capture, 5-axis stabilization, 4K video recording support and 960fps slow-motion video support. On the front side, it comes equipped with a 5-megapixel snapper with Exmor RS sensor, 23mm super wide-angle lens, and f/2.2 aperture.

The device comes with IP65/IP68 certification, ensuring water and dust resistance. There’s a Premium edition of the Xperia XZ2 which comes with dual rear cameras but the company has not launched this edition in India. Given the pricing of the standard version, we don’t expect that Sony plans to bring the Premium edition to India.
