The Meizu 16 was supposed to launch on August 8 but it appears Meizu has brought it back by a week. The Chinese manufacturer has sent out invites for an event on July 30.
As you already know Meizu is always extra with its invites and this time it has sent a bottle of shampoo along with the invite. The shampoo brand is Heads and Shoulders and we think it is a joke teasing other manufacturers whose phones have a notch or how the bezels on the Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus are small.
[envira-gallery id=”203380″]The Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus will both come with Snapdragon 845 processors. They will also have AMOLED displays with the Plus variant coming with a 6.5-inch screen and the regular model having a 6.0-inch screen.

Both will also come with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and the same camera configuration. They will run Android 8.1 Oreo and come with in-display fingerprint scanners.
There is no info yet on the time and venue for the launch but we believe that should become public in a few days.
