The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro flagship smartphones are expected to debut in October this year to replace the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro phones from 2017. A tipster from China has shared some specifications of the Mate 20 Pro smartphone. Moreover, he has also shared of the phone.

A previous report had claimed that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is expected to arrive a notch-less dual edge curved screen. However, the alleged Mate 20 Pro that has appeared in the leaked image seems to feature a notch-less flat screen. The display is surrounded by super-slim bezels on all sides. Hence, the handset is expected to offer a very high screen-to-body ratio. The selfie snapper is not visible which suggests that it could be featuring a pop-up front camera.

Apart from sharing the image of the alleged Mate 20 Pro, the leakster has also revealed some of its key specifications. He has claimed that the screen of the phone will be embedded with an under-display fingerprint sensor. Like the Huawei P20 Pro, the upcoming Mate 20 Pro may also feature a triple camera module. The tipster has claimed that the phone will be featuring 42-megapixel triple camera setup.

The Kirin 980 SoC will be powering the Mate 20 Pro. Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology will be also present on the phone to boost the performance of its GPU. There is no information available on the exact size of the battery that will be powering the Mate 20 Pro. However, the tipster has revealed that it will carry support for 40W fast charging. The handset is expected to be priced at 5,000 Yuan (~$732).

GizmoChina speculates that the Mate 20 Pro will be arriving with 8 GB of RAM. The probable reason behind it is that Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has recently launched the Honor 10 GT with 8 GB of RAM and also the upcoming Honor Note 10 is also rumored to arrive with same amount of RAM.
