The Huawei P20 Pro was recently reported to have clinched an award as the best smartphone by Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) for 2018-2019 in the Mobile Devices category. It has emerged that the Honor 10 and Nokia 7 Plus also joined the P20 Pro aboard the honour roll call. While the P20 Pro was adjudged the best smartphone, the Honor 10 was voted the best lifestyle smartphone. The Nokia 7 Plus was rated as the best consumer smartphone.
The Honor 10’s emergence as the best lifestyle smartphone means two of Huawei’s smartphones were adjudged as best among equals and that is a testament to the company’s towering reputation. It also affirms that the company’s huge investment in R&D has started to yield fruit. The device is a 6.0-inch FHD+ notch-less phablet that is powered by an SD660 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. It runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo and is pencilled for the upgrade to Android 9.0 Pie.
