Huawei is rolling out an update for its recently launched, Huawei Nova 3. The update packs various bug fixes and improvements which will make your device smoother and optimise it for better performance. Particularly, Huawei Nova 3 update packs fixes including improved sensitivity of the touchscreen, making it more responsive to touch.

Further, Huawei has added new authentication feature for making payments with WeChat. Users can make payments via WeChat using the fingerprint authentication. The update also brings some camera improvements, making photos to process with much better color saturation. It has fixed the major Wi-Fi scan pop-up bug along with other minor tweaks.

Currently, the OTA update is available in China and will soon commence in other regions. The firmware version B142 is rolling out as an OTA update and is only available for PAR-AL00, and PAR-TL00 models. The owners of these models can check for the update by heading to the Settings >> System >> System Update. Usually, OTA update takes few days to reach each and every unit. Before updating the Huawei Nova 3, make sure it is charged more than 50% and is connected to stable Wi-Fi network.

 

 

The mid-range, Huawei Nova 3 is known for its dual cameras on the both front and the back side. It was launched couple of months ago and was priced $480 (3280 Yuan). Huawei Nova 3 mid-range smartphone packs 6.3 inch LCD display having 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered with HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. It runs Mali-G72 MP12 GPU for graphics and packs 3750 mAh battery. For Camera, there’s dual cameras of 24 megapixel + 2 megapixel on the front side and 16 megapixel + 24 megapixel dual unit on the front side.
