Meizu 16X launch is already upon us. The Chinese company is expected to officially launch the premium mid-range smartphone on September 19 which is tomorrow. Ahead of the launch event, the Meizu 16X suspected price tag has appeared in a leaked document. The price tag was said to have been spotted in an offline store in China and is for the 6GB RAM variant. The variant is listed with a 2,499 yuan price tag which is approximately $364.
If really the Meizu 16X adopts this price tag, it will continue with the affordable pricing style of the Meizu 16 and 16 Plus. The device is a midrange model that will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM while the model whose price just leaked packs 64GB of internal storage. The device is also said to come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor.
The 16X is also expected to pack a dual camera setup at the rear comprising a Sony IMX380 main sensor and a Sony IMX350 secondary sensor. The device will retain the dual speakers used on the Meizu 16 as well as the classic white paint job of the Meizu 15. However, the device is expected to pack a bigger battery than the Meizu 16th.
