Chinese phone manufacturer Elephone has officially announced the camera-centric Elephone A5 smartphone. The device comes with some spectacular features that make it stand out. One of such features is the triple camera setup it packs at the rear. Not done, Elephone equipped the device with dual cameras for selfies.
Design wise, the Elephone A5 features a notch design at the front while at the rear it packs a glass back with gradient colour. The design looks very much like the Huawei P20 and it isn’t surprising it keeps up with the P20’s unique triple rear camera setup. The cameras are aligned vertically and in the same arrangement as the P20’s rear shooter.
Talking of the specifications, the A5 sports a 6.18-inch FHD+ notch screen with a resolution of 2246 x 1080pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 mid-range chipset. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and there is 64GB of internal storage onboard. The Elephone A5 gets its juice from a massive 4000mAh battery which will surely offer an extended battery life. Other perks include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Lumia gradient back color. The triple rear camera configuration include a 12.0MP + 5.0MP + 0.3MPwhile at the front is a 20.0MP + 2.0MP selfie camera combo. On the software end, the A5 comes packing the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system which is pretty impressive.
The Elephone A5 is now available for pre-order on GearBest with a price tag of $199.99 for the early birds. It will be on open sale from December 3 to December 19. Meanwhile, you can scoop more details of the device by visiting the product page from here.
