Huawei is reportedly all set to launch its first Mate series smartphone in the Indian market. According to a report from IANS, Huawei will be launching the Huawei Mate 20 Pro in the Indian market on 27th November.

It is already known that the Mate 20 Pro will be available for purchase exclusively through Amazon in India. It seems that only the 6GB RAM model will make its way to the Indian market.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a premium smartphone that aims to take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Apple iPhone XS Max, and Google Pixel 3 XL among others. It features a 6.39-inch OLED notched display that offers 18.7:9 aspect ratio, Quad HD+ resolution and it is embedded with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the company’s own 7nm Kirin 980 octa-core chipset. For photography, it comes with Leica co-engineered triple camera resides on the backside of the phone. It includes a f/1.8 aperture 40-megapixel angles, a f/2.2 aperture 20-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens and a f/2.4 aperture and OIS enabled 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

On the front side, the handset features a 24-megapixel RGB selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Housed inside the larger notch on top of the display, the camera sensors are paired with other sensors that are responsible for 3D face unlock feature.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, dual-band Bluetooth v5.0, Bluetooth v5.0 LE with aptX, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port. Running on Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.0, the phone is powered by a 4,200mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology.

In Europe, the 6GB RAM model of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is priced at EUR 1,049 (approximately $1,195 or Rs. 85,000) and comes in Black, Midnight Blue, Emerald Green, Pink Gold, and Twilight colors.
