Many have eyes on the next fleet of foldable smartphones which are expected to arrive next year. Already, there are plenty of rumours and leaks that have reported about the foldable or flexible devices which are due for launch in 2019. On the other hand, Samsung is coming with Galaxy F, while Huawei and LG are also on the same boat. Today, we have got some good news for Microsoft fans. The Redmond company is expected to launch their foldable version of smartphone under Project Andromeda in 2019.
As per a new book, Beneath a Surface by journalist and Microsoft tech blog Thurrot.com collaborator Brad Same, Microsoft is going to launch their foldable device next year. The book tells us the tale of Microsoft, like how they managed to create $1 billion a year business out of their Surface lineup. They have even managed to surpass Apple in some cases. Now it appears that Microsoft is waving ahead to compete against other companies in a more a competitive way.
Microsoft is coming with Project Andromeda, a foldable device which can expand like the tablet and will launch in the upcoming year. There are many pros that make it most awaited device from Microsoft next year. The new device will come with a Surface-class like design and will come with Windows Phone Operating system.
Along with the Microsoft’s Surface product, Xbox one, new Surface tablets and many other hardware devices are set for launch in 2019. The new tablet will compete against Apple iPad Pro 12.9 – inch tablet. It will carry slim design with USB Type-C on board and very thin bezels making it more elegant.
Many devices and products have already been in the pipeline from different manufacturers for 2019. Most of them are coming with new technologies such as 5G and foldable displays. With the new report, it has been made clear that Microsoft is also on the same line as like of Samsung, LG and Huawei who are preparing to launch the very first foldable devices.
