Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 was the first Xiaom model to launch with MIUI 10 and the model has continued to get steady updates. A new version has just hit the Mi Mix 3 and it is MIUI v10.2.1.0.PEECNXM. The update package volume is about 663MB and can be assessed via the phone’s settings option, for those who are yet to receive the OTA push update.Xiaomi Mi Mix 3

The new update brings a new camera photo capture mode and also fixes the rear camera flash issues. The update also fixes the occasional auto-continuous shooting issues and full-screen camera reference line issues. In addition, the new version brings onboard a photo frame editing function to the photo album. The update also fixes the issues of “the hotspot not opening” and several other bug fixes.

As a reminder, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 features a 6.39-inch display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and screen ratio of about 93.4%. The high screen ratio, the biggest on any Xiaomi phone was made possible as a result the lack of a selfie camera at the front. Instead, the device utilises a sliding design. The Mi Mix 3 slider has been proved to be an advanced technology and one which won’t fail anytime soon. A tech geek claimed to have subjected the slider to up to 600,000 times without any hassle. Xiaomi on its part claims the slider has a service lifespan of 300,000 slides. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and packs a 3200mAh battery. There is also a 12MP+12MP dual rear camera setup as well as a 24MP+2MP dual camera at the front for selfies.
