It seems that Blackview left the best part for the end of the year since the company is planning to launch two more new products on December 6th. We are talking about the Blackview BV9900 rugged smartphone and BV-SW02 business & sports smartwatch.
According to the landing page released today, the Blackview BV9900 seems perfect for every user thanks to its complete set of features. First and foremost, as a rugged phone, it carries IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD-810G certifications. And it makes a big step forward on its practicality as it now can work in temperatures as low as -30℃. Really useful in countries with so low temperatures as common smartphones are having a hard time operating there.
In addition to its rugged character, the BV9900 takes the lead in becoming the first rugged phone with a 48MP AI camera in a quad setup. The setup consists of the Sony® 48MP sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
The rest of the main specs are flagship-grade and include MediaTek’s top SoC Helio P90 backed by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage that enable users to run games and applications seamlessly without any lag.
There’s also a 5.84″ FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch with Gorilla Glass 5 on top and the phone houses a 4380mAh battery inside. Besides, There is also NFC, 38 global LTE network bands with dual-LTE/dual VoLTE support. And to make the phone even more complete, Blackview equips the device with a heart rate monitor, barometer, hygrometer and ultraviolet intensity meter. All these are coordinated by Android 9 Pie.
The second new product that will hit the market on Monday is the new smartwatch of the company, BV-SW02, and all the features you expect too see are there: 5ATM waterproofing, 15-day daily use on a single charge, 12 sports modes, and two straps included in the package.
