Earlier today (20th December 2019), Huawei, the smartphone manufacturer, announced that its latest EMUI 10 system update has reached upwards of 10 million users. The number also spans across 33 different smartphone models from the company.

The massive number arrives just a couple of weeks after the Chinese tech giant announced that its Android 10 based EMUI 10 custom skin was received by over 1 million users; showcasing the quick pace of the major update’s roll out. Initially, EMUI 10 debuted alongside Huawei Mate 30 series. It supported all the new upgrades and features which were present in most high end smartphone from Huawei and its subsidiary, Honor.

According to the official listing, over 30 smartphone models from the company are set to receive the update. These are also further divided into different batches, based on which group would receive the update first. Currently, the first wave of Huawei handsets to receive the update include the P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X and Mate 20 Porsche Edition.

The most recent devices to have the update rolled out to includes, Mate 20 X (5G), Mate RS Porsche Design, Mate 10 Porsche Design, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10, P20 Pro, P20, Nova 4e, Honor 20i, Honor 10 Youth Edition and a few more. Furthermore, Huawei’s Nova 5 Pro and Honor 8X are currently under internal beta testing for the EMUI 10. These will soon be followed by Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro, Nova 5i, Nova 5z, Huawei Enjoy 10S, Honor 20S, and Honor 20 Youth Edition in the arriving year.
