Outside China, Visionox Co Ltd may not be a popular brand but the firm is a leading Chinese manufacturer of organic light-emitting diode screens popularly known as OLED screens. Some of the popular products you know have OLED panels supplied by Visionox onboard like the Xiaomi Mix Alpha, Mi CC9 Pro, ZTE’s first 5G mobile phone Axon10 Pro, Nubia Red Devils 3, China Mobile 5G mobile phone pioneer X1, LG mobile phones, etc. Sources close to the company have disclosed that Visionox has entered into a partnership with Huawei to supply display panels for some of the tech giant’s product lines.

The sources hinted that Visionox has already received Huawei’s official supplier code and will provide samples for Huawei from February 2020. They also disclosed that the mass production of the screens will commence a month later in March. The company will reportedly supply Huawei with display panels for the Honor and Nova series.

However, there are concerns that Visionox current production capacity may not be able to meet up with Huawei’s demand. Huawei is expected to order 5-10 million mobile phone screens from Visionox in 2020. This may likely include punch-hole OLED displays which have been elusive from Huawei’s product line.
