Micromax has finally announced the release date of the IN 1b smartphone in India. The device, whose first sale was postponed a week ago, will be available for purchase starting at ₹6,999($94.79) in the country.

Micromax IN 1b Price, Availability

Micromax, in a tweet, has confirmed that the Micromax IN 1b will be available for sale on December 10. Accordingly, users can purchase the device on Flipkart, and Micromax‘s website. The device has two versions – 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM, 64GB storage. You can take a look at the price below:

  • 2GB+32GB- ₹6,999($94.79)
  • 4GB+64GB- ₹7,999($108.33)

That said, Flipkart’s product page shows offers like a 5% Unlimited Cashback on ‘Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card’, No Cost EMI, and more. Micromax unveiled the IN Note 1 and IN 1b smartphones back on November 3. After a warm reception to the pre-orders, users are still waiting to buy the IN 1b whereas the IN Note 1 has already been on sale a couple of times.

Micromax IN 1b Specifications

Micromax IN 1b features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD HD+ display. The display has a resolution of 1600×720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Despite sharing a similar rear camera layout and fingerprint sensor as the IN Note 1, it’s display has a mini-drop notch instead of a punch-hole.

Under the hood, the IN 1b is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. This is paired with either 2/4GB RAM and 32/64GB storage. For cameras, you get a 13MP main lens and a 2MP sensor on the rear. Upfront, there is an 8MP selfie shooter tucked under the notch.

Other features include a microSD slot, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, Google Assistant button, Face Unlock, 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. The device’s 2GB version runs Android 10 Go Edition but 4GB runs Android 10 OS without any bloatware. Micromax has also guaranteed upgrades for 2 years.
