Other than smartphones, OnePlus also sells smart TVs. However, the brand’s televisions are only available in India. The OnePlus TV Q and U series are the company’s premium and mid-range TV offerings. The firm has released a new system update for these televisions called OTA7.

The main highlight of the OnePlus TV Q/U series OTA7 update is the inclusion of a new camera app. This appears to be the same update, which we reported last week. Because this software build was rolled out at around the same time.

For those unaware, OnePlus is expected to launch a webcam accessory for its smart TVs in India. This camera app will help users click photos as well as record videos. Users can also share those media to their phones with this application.

Further, this update also brings support for OnePlus Watch controls. Users of the OnePlus TV Q and U series can now control their television by accessing the ‘TV Connect’ on their OnePlus Watch if they own one.

Last but not least, the OxygenPlay content aggregation service gets Republic TV live channel, Sports Zone, and content rating. Also, the update brings a fix for the Bluetooth lag issue.
