Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi has confirmed to launch the Redmi Note 10 5G series in China on May 26. Ahead of these smartphones’ official announcement next week, the company has been teasing their design and specs on Weibo. Let us take a look at all the confirmed features in this article.
First and foremost, we would like to let you know that the teasers shared by Redmi on Weibo seem to be for the top-end model of the Redmi Note 10 5G series. This high-end variant was first said to be called Redmi Note 10 Pro+ 5G. But now, it looks like this phone will go official as Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G.
However, the company is yet to officially confirm the name of the models. Hence, it is using the term ‘Redmi Note 10 Series’ in all the teasers. But as we mentioned earlier, the specifications teased clearly belong to the expensive version.
With that out of the way, let us go through the confirmed specs. The so-called Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G is teased to be powered by a flagship chipset. But Redmi is yet to reveal the silicon. Rumors are strife that it will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC.
Further, the device is teased to come with UFS 3.1 storage, which is unheard of in this price segment. Also, the brand says that 8 mainstream games will support 90FPS on this handset, which again sounds amazing for the price.
Lastly, Redmi claims a gaming smartphone-level cooling system in the Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G. The brand says that the phone will sport a ‘quadruple cooling system’. This means the device will come with VC (Vapor Chamber), graphite, thermal conductive gel, and copper foil to offer a heat dissipation area of 16370mm².
Apart from the above-mentioned specifications, the company has also revealed the design of the alleged Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G. This handset’s back panel will be similar to that of the Mi 11 Lei Jun Signature Edition and the entire device will weigh 193g.
That said, we expect to learn more about the Redmi Note 10 5G series before its official launch next Wednesday.
