Back in March, it was revealed that the successor to the OnePlus Nord will arrive this year with a Dimensity 1200 processor powering it. Now, the full spec sheet of the phone, which will launch as the OnePlus Nord 2, has leaked and it reaffirms the chipset earlier reported.

The Nord 2 spec sheet leaked by OnLeaks in partnership with 91 Mobiles also mentions the phone will have a bigger battery capacity and fewer cameras compared to its predecessor.

For the screen, the phone will have a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a single punch hole at the top left corner of the screen for a 32MP camera. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and a fingerprint scanner underneath it.

The Dimensity 1200 processor is paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It remains to be seen if there will be other configurations available.

OnePlus has not only cut the number of front-facing cameras by one, but it has also done the same to the rear cameras. So, instead of four sensors, there are three. The main camera is a 50MP sensor and it is paired with an 8MP sensor (most likely an ultrawide angle camera) and a 2MP sensor.

The battery capacity is now 4500mAh and we can expect it to support the new Warp Charge 30T Plus that will make its debut in the OnePlus Nord CE tomorrow. The Nord CE has a 4500mAh battery too and the new fast charging technology allows the battery to be filled from empty to 70% in 30 minutes.

An earlier report said the OnePlus Nord 2 will launch in the second quarter of the year which ends this month. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case as a leaker revealed that it will be announced in July. This is the same source that said the Nord N200 may launch on June 15.
