Xiaomi is expected to launch its first in-display camera smartphone very soon. The device is being reported to go official as Mi MIX 4. Earlier today, a popular leaker shared a picture containing an alleged tempered glass of this handset.
The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has showcased its under-display camera technology multiple times. But the company is yet to release a commercial product with this tech. This is said to change soon with the launch of the so-called Mi MIX 4.
There have been multiple rumors about this phone, however, this is the first time we are getting to see its front design. Anyway, it is worth noting that the image posted by Digital Chat Station could include a fake screen protector of Mi MIX 4.
With that being said, as per the picture, the upcoming Mi MIX series smartphone will indeed feature an under-display camera. Like any other high-end smartphone from Chinese OEMs, the screen will be curved on both sides. Unfortunately, neither the image nor the leakster mentions anything else about the handset’s design.
According to previous reports, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a high refresh rate. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage
For optics, the phone will use a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP Samsung GN1 primary sensor. Last but not least, it will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
