Multiple reports have revealed that Samsung is working on an improved version of the Galaxy A52 that debuted earlier this year. The new device is expected to hit the market with the Galaxy A52s moniker. Its launch seems to be drawing near as it has received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) authority.

The FCC listing of the Galaxy A52s (SM-A526B model number) has revealed only a few details. The listing revealed that the device is equipped with connectivity features like 4×4 MIMO, n5/n66 5G bands, and NFC.

Past reports have revealed that the Galaxy A52s could be Samsung’s first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 778G SoC. The handset was seen with the Qualcomm chip, 8 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS at the Geekbench benchmarking site recently. The rest of its specs are under wraps. It is speculated that the handset may borrow its other features from the Galaxy A52 5G.

A recent leak revealed that the Galaxy A52s will be arriving in hues such as Awesome White, Awesome Black, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Mint. The 128 GB storage variant of the device may hit the European markets with a price tag of €434.64 (~$515).

To recollect, the Galaxy A52 5G features a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED display that supports a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a front camera of 32-megapixel, and its rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel (main, with OIS support) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 5-megapixel (depth) quad-camera system.

The Snapdragon 750G powered A52 5G has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W rapid charging. It is equipped with other features like an IP67 certified waterproof and dustproof body, an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and a microSD card slot.
