Earlier this month, iQOO unveiled the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro flagship phones. While the vanilla has the Snapdragon 888 chip, the Pro features the more powerful the Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. It appears that the iQOO 8 Pro could be heading soon to the global markets as it has appeared on the Google Play Console and Google Supported Devices list.

Android phones that are released in China do not feature Google apps and services. Hence, they do not need any Google certification. The appearance of the iQOO 8 Pro at Google Play Console is a good hint that its global launch is imminent.

At the Play Console, the iQOO 8 Pro is listed with SM8350 Qualcomm chip, which is nothing but the Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. The listing further mentions that it has a Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) display, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. Recently, a tipster claimed that the iQOO 8 will be launching in India in September. Probably, the company may start teasing the arrival of the iQOO 8 lineup in different markets in the coming month.
