The Realme GT Neo2 is all set to break cover on Sept. 22 in China. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese manufacturer has been gradually revealing the key features of the GT Neo2. Today, it revealed what to expect from Neo2’s display.

It is already known through the TENAA listing and other leaks that the Realme GT Neo2 will feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. The screen will carry support for a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Realme has confirmed with it will be an E4 AMOLED panel, which consumes 15 percent less power than the previous generation. The screen will offer an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 600Hz, 1300nits of brightness, 5000000:1 contrast ratio, 10240-level dimming, DC dimming, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. For security, it will be integrated with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

Earlier this week, Realme confirmed that the GT Neo2 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging, and diamond ice core cooling system. Other reports have revealed that the GT Neo2 will feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The handset is expected to come equipped with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage in China.

A recent claimed that there could be two CPU variants of the Realme GT Neo2. The first one could be powered by the Dimensity 1200-Ai chipset that may carry pricing of about 2,000 Yuan (~$310). On the other side, the Snapdragon 870 variant could be a gaming-focused variant that may cost around 2,500 Yuan (~$387).
