Realme is all set to unveil the Realme GT Neo2 on Sept. 22 in China. It will be replacing the original GT Neo that debuted earlier this year. Today, the company took to Weibo to confirm that it will be flaunting a 64-megapixel triple camera unit.

The company is yet to share the details of the auxiliary cameras of the GT Neo2. Probably, it will be featuring the same 8-megapixel superwide snapper and a 2-megapixel macro camera that was made available on the original GT Neo.

It is speculated that there will be Dimensity 1200 chip variant featuring a smaller 6.43-inch AMOLED panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be backed by a 4,500mAh battery. This model could be priced around 2,000 Yuan (~$309) in China.

On the other hand, there will be a Snapdragon 870 variant fitted with a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may come with a larger 5,000mAh battery. This edition could be priced around 2,500 Yuan (~$386) in China.

The GT Neo2 with Dimensity 1200 may come with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB storage. The SD870 edition may feature up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of built-in storage.

The Realme GT Neo2 variants may feature the same 64-megapixel triple camera unit and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Both models are likely to carry support for 65W rapid charging.
