In 2020, the Oujia group (OPLUS) introduced an integrated eCommerce platform called Huantai Mall in China. It is a one-stop destination in the country to buy OPPO, OnePlus, and realme products. Just a year later, the online store has been now renamed OPPO Mall.

According to a report by ITHome, OPPO recently updated the Huantai Mall app for Android. The latest release not only bumps up the version to 3.0.2, but also changes the name of the application and its icon.

The official online store of OPPO, OnePlus, realme in China is now called OPPO Mall instead of Huantia Mall. It also gets a simple icon with OPPO logo. Additionally, the app now comes with a redesigned homepage.

OPPO is yet to issue an official statement regarding the rebranding of Huantai Mall. Also, it’s worth noting that the application is still listed with its old name on Apple App Store.

Both OPPO and OnePlus are undergoing changes ever since the two brands announced their merger. They have even confirmed to use a unified mobile operating system from next year.

Hence, we think that the new branding for their eCommerce store is part of the merger plan. As OnePlus is now said to be a sub-brand of OPPO, it makes sense for the online store to carry the parent company’s name.
