Motorola‘s Moto G200 5G, which was launched last year by Lenovo, is now finally getting the latest Android 12 version update along with the March 2022 security patch.

The over-the-air (OTA) update is currently being rolled out in the select European markets but the update is expected to be soon made available for the Moto G200 5G smartphone users in the United States.

While the expansion of the update rollout for the smartphone to more regions is expected, there’s no official announcement or timeline available regarding the same. It is expected to get released in Latin America and the UK ahead of the US.

This is likely because the non-5G Moto G200, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, is still not available in the United States. It’s noteworthy that mid-range and low-end Moto G30 Pro and Moto G30 launched last year have already received the new Android version update ahead of the G200 5G.

Coming to the specifications, the smartphone features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. It comes packed with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, there’s a triple-camera setup on the back consisting of a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, it features a 16-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

The phone comes with some other features such as Bluetooth 5.2, FM Radio, USB, and GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and comes with support for 33W fast charging.
