Samsung has been keen on offering updates to its mid-range smartphones. The higher-end A-series models are usually the first to get the latest updates. Last month, the Samsung Galaxy A51 received the Android 12 update in regions like Russia, Vietnam, and UAE. Now, the device is getting the update in Brazil.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 has received the One UI 4.1-based Android 12 update for models in Brazil. The update supports all unlocked and other carriers in the region. The build number of the update is A515FXXU5FVD2 and is sized over 2GB. It comes with the latest April 2022 security patch and has some bug fixes and improvements.

The update brings all the Android 12 and One UI 4.1 features like the Privacy Dashboard, improved color palette for apps, and Game Optimization Service (GOS) in Game Booster mode.

If you are a Galaxy A51 user residing in Brazil, you should have received the update notification. If you haven’t received any notification, simply head to the Settings > Software Update. If you still don’t see the Android 12 update on your phone, do not worry as it’s probably a staged update and your device should receive it soon.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 was launched back in 2019 with Android 10 out of the box. It has a 6.5-inch SuperAMOLED screen and packs Exynos 9611 SoC. The smartphone came with 48MP triple cameras and had a 4,000mAh battery.
