The Sony Xperia 1 IV is expected to feature a 6.5-inch display with 4K screen resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and a 21:9 aspect ratio. The screen will be protected by a layer of the Gorilla Glass Victus on top.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which will likely be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the phone will have a triple camera setup on the back with ZEISS branded lens, but there’s not much information available. But it’s known that the camera module has a primary sensor, a telephoto shooter, and an ultra-wide-angle lens.

The phone will run the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own custom interface on top. It will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and come with support for 45W fast charging.

If the rumors are to be believed, then the Sony Xperia 1 IV will be priced at 1,399 Euros, which roughly converts to $1,480. The smartphone is expected to come in three color options — Black, Violet, and White.
