OPPO announced the OPPO Find X3 and Find X3 Pro in the first half of 2021 in China. In the second half of the year, it unveiled the Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition. According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, OPPO will be launching a new variant of the Find X5 series in the second half of 2022.
The tipster did not reveal any details of the upcoming Find X5 series phone. Most smartphone OEMs in China. are working on Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 powered flagship phones. Hence, it is likely that the device may come equipped with the SD+8G1 chipset and the company’s self-developed MariSilicon X chip.
In addition, the tipster has speculated that OPPO could be working on its first clamshell with a foldable screen or the successor to the OPPO Find N foldable phone. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know OPPO’s plans for the remaining months of this year.
OPPO has recently launched the OPPO Reno 8 series of smartphones in China. Rumors are rife that the global markets will be receiving the Reno 8 series this month. China received the OPPO Reno 8 Pro+ with Dimensity 8100 chipset and the OPPO Reno 8 Pro with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

Since the device is equipped with the D8100 chipset, it seems that it could be the global version of the Reno 8 Pro. The Geekbench appearance suggests that the company could be internally testing its performance before its official announcement.
