Xiaomi Book S 12.4 laptop has been launched in Europe. It is a two-in-one detachable laptop and looks like Microsoft’s Surface Pro X. The device focuses more on portability with its thin and light form factor. The laptop appeared on Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG certification websites earlier in March this year.

The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 sports a 12.4-inch IPS LCD screen bearing a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and offering 500 nits peak brightness. The display is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and it is compatible with Stylus as well as supports touch functionality. The laptop features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Book S 12.4 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor. It packs 8GB RAM and 256GB storage expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. The machine is backed by a 4,920mAh battery unit with support for 65W fast charging. Software-wise, the laptop runs on ARM-based version of Windows 11 out of the box.
Connectivity options on the Xiaomi Book S 12.4 include a USB-C port, WiFi, and Bluetooth.

The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 carries a price tag of €699 and along with the keyboard cover costs €799. The laptop will go on sale from June 21st.
