Philips has launched a new 2-in-1 dual display monitor in China with model number B1D5000. The monitor offers two screen technologies: one is the high-resolution Quad HD 23.8-inch LCD display, while the other screen is the paper-like E-Ink display. This combined technology is claimed to provide better usability and performance. Let’s have a closer look at the device’s specs and pricing.

Philips’ 2-in-1 monitor, 24B1D5600, meets the demands of power users while reducing interior and ecological footprints. It supports height and tilt adjustments and can also swivel and pivot to offer versatile propositions and customized settings.

As mentioned, the Philips monitor comes with dual displays. It has a 23.8-inch Quad HD LCD display, which offers 2560 x 1440 and 99.8% sRGB color gamut. It also has a secondary 13.3-inch E-ink display offering 1200 x 1600 resolution. The E-ink display is supposed to allow users to enjoy fatigue-free reading of text-intensive documents and websites without straining their eyes.

The Monitor 24B1D5600 is claimed to be very power efficient and consumes 80% less energy than a normal display of this size. It comes with dual Type-C ports to support multi-directional charging in workplaces. The main LCD screen is equipped with a 90W high-power Type-C port, which supports high-speed data transmission. While the secondary screen is equipped with a Type-C 15W fast charging port, which can be used with mobile phones and other smart devices for power supply and separate screen projection.

Philips’ 2-in-1 monitor, model 24B1D5600, is available for purchase in China for 5999 yuan, which roughly converts to $838. Currently, the device is not available for sale in global markets.
