The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro was introduced back in April with a classic design featuring a circular dial. It’s a good-looking wearable with impressive health-tracking and connectivity features, however, there’s always room for more. In that light, Huawei today unveiled a premium edition of the Watch GT 3 Pro with a design that speaks of extravagance, luxury, and class. Let us have a closer look at this brand-new smartwatch.
Design & Specs
First things first, let’s talk about the design and build of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro. It comes with a circular dial just like the standard model and features a black rotating crown made up of spinel. Huawei says the spinel is designed with diamond facets. The bezels on the smartwatch have 24 gold shell patterns that are carved by “custom-made knives”.
The body of the wearable is made using black nano microcrystalline ceramics, which is a result of 168 hours of flame calcination and 36 hours of polishing. The watch comes with 2 unique dials— Jade Rabbit and Classic. The former, as the name suggests, features a rabbit while the latter features a day-and-night design.
Moving to the specs, the watch comes with a 1.32 inches AMOLED touchscreen display, which is made up of sapphire glass. On the software front, it runs HarmonyOS and supports Bluetooth calls and multiple apps. It comes with a built-in e-wallet and NFC support.
Notably, the smartwatch has a medically-approved ECG functionality that lets users check their heart’s rhythm and electrical activity. It also supports heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring, body temperature detection, sleep monitoring, stress monitoring, and more.
Finally, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Premium Edition is claimed to offer up to 7 days of battery backup with 4 days of heavy use. The smartwatch supports wireless charging and is compatible with Android as well as IOS devices.
Price & Availability
Unlike the standard model, the watch comes in a single size (43mm). It is priced at 4988 Yuan, which roughly converts to $709. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Premium Edition is currently available for purchase in China through Vmall. Its global availability is yet to be confirmed.
