Earlier this year, Huawei launched the MateBook 14s laptop in China with Intel 12th-gen core processors and a 2.5k resolution display. Now, the company has unveiled a new intel core i9 processor variant of the device in its home country. The device packs 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Here are all the details.

The new Huawei MateBook 14s i9 version, equipped with 16GB of memory and 1TB SSD, is priced at 8699 yuan ($1,245). It is offered in three colors: Space Gray, Bright Moon Silver, and Spruce Green. The device comes with a metal body design and weighs around 1.43kg.

The MateBook 14s i9 version will be available for pre-sale tomorrow and will go on sale on December 29. This new variant is only available in China as of now. However, a 12th-gen Core i7 version of the laptop is available in Europe with a price tag of £1299.99 ($1,522).

Talking about the specifications, the MateBook 14s is equipped with a 14.2-inch with 2.5K resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It offers a 90Hz refresh rate, 400 nits of peak brightness, and 100% sRGB color gamut. The display supports a 10-point touch.

As mentioned, the laptop is powered by an intel core i9 processor with a 45W performance release. It packs up to 16GB LPDDR4X memory, and a 512GB / 1TB SSD. In other respects, the device features a four-speaker audio system, a built-in 60Wh battery, and a 90W GaN charger.

Connectivity options on the laptop include Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, and USB-A. On the software front, the new MateBook 14s supports HyperTerminal, which facilitates interconnectivity with mobile phones, tablets, monitors, smart screens, and other devices.
