Back in March 2022, Realme launched the Realme C35 smartphone. Like all of the devices in the C series, the C35 is a budget-oriented device with entry-level hardware baked into it. Now, it appears that the brand is gearing up to launch a successor to the C35, which will likely be called the Realme C55.

The device has appeared on multiple certification websites, including NBTC, BIS, FCC, and EEC. These certifications reveal small bits of information about the upcoming Realme C55. Starting with the NBTC certification, the database has the device listed with the model number RMX3710. It does not reveal any details regarding the specifications; however, it does confirm the Realme C55 moniker.

According to the FCC certification listing, the phone will have a 4880mAh battery. The battery’s model number is BLP875. The listing also indicates that the Realme C55 will enable 33W fast charging. This indicates that the Realme C55 will be the fastest-charging C-series smartphone from Realme to date.

The BIS and EEC certifications don’t reveal any particular details. But they do indicate that the smartphone will likely launch in India and Russia. Let’s take a look at the specs of the Realme C35 to get an idea of what we can expect from the C55.

Realme C35 specs

The Realme C35 boasts a 6.6-inch LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels, 401 PPI, and a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz. The display has a dewdrop notch for the selfie camera and can be as bright as 600 nits at its brightest point.

It has a UNISOC T616 SoC under the hood, together with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It has a sizable 5,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging, and it comes pre-installed with realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 12.

The smartphone contains three cameras: a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. It has an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.

The C35 also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, USB Type-C, and a microSD card slot.
