Several reports have claimed that Honor is working on the Honor 80 Pro’s flat display edition for the Chinese market. The device appears to be available for purchase in China’s offline stores. A spec sheet of the phone, which mentions the price of the device, has been shared by tipster WHYLAB on Weibo. The device is aimed at the offline market in the country and is said to go on sale starting Jan. 6.

The Honor 80 Pro flat display edition measures 162.5 x 75.3 x 7.9mm and weighs around 186 to 193 grams. It has a 6.67-inch flat OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, 1920Hz PWM dimming, 10-bit colors, and up to 1000 nits of brightness. It is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Shown above are the live shots of the Honor 80 Pro’s flat display variant. The handset is powered by an underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. It has a 4,800mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. The device comes in a single variant that offers 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The device runs on MagicOS 7.0-based Android 12 OS.

The Honor 80 Pro flat display does not have a dual selfie camera setup like the original Honor 80 Pro. Its screen has a single cutout for the 32-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, it has a 160-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper.

The Honor 80 Pro flat display edition is priced at 3,599 Yuan (~$528). It comes in three colors, such as bright black, jade green, and pink.
