After launching the Realme 10 Pro series in India, the Chinese brand Realme is gearing up to debut the Realme 10 smartphone in the Indian market. After teasing the device last week, Realme has now revealed its launch date.

According to the company, the Realme 10 will be on sale throughout the nation on January 9 at 12:30 PM. For those unaware, the Realme 10 is the Realme 10 series’ most affordable smartphone and will replace the Realme 9 4G from last year.

Flipkart already has a dedicated micro-site for the smartphone that reveals details about the hardware and features onboard the Realme 10. The Realme 10 launch micro-site verifies that a MediaTek Helio G99 CPU will be used in it. It has also been verified that the device has a 90Hz refresh rate display. Since the device has already been launched in other markets around the globe, we already know the remaining details of the device.

The Realme 10 sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It also has a 360Hz touch sampling rate. Along with other capabilities, the device supports Always on Display (AOD) and runs Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0.

The phone has up to 256 GB of internal storage, a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, 4 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 8 GB of virtual RAM. It has a 5000mAh battery that can be charged with the 33W charger that comes with it. For enhanced security, it incorporates a fingerprint scanner on the side.

The Realme 10 4G’s cameras include a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a rear LED flash. The front of the phone has a 16-megapixel camera. The Realme 10 4G comes equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C connector, a microSD card slot, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. The gadget is 159.9 x 73.3 x 7.95 mm in size, and it weighs about 178.5 grams.
