OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 11 5G flagship phone yesterday (Jan. 4) in China. A few hours after unveiling the OP11 (4 pm local time to be precise), the company began receiving its pre-orders. The OP11’s first sale is scheduled to take place on Jan. 9 in the home market. Soon after making the OP11 available for pre-orders, OnePlus China President Li Jie took to Weibo to let the fans know about the market response the OP11 is receiving.

Li Jie claimed that in just two hours, the OnePlus 11 achieved the fastest pre-sales record in the history of OnePlus. He thanked everyone for supporting and recognizing the OP11. He added that this makes them more convinced that, as long as they do a good job in building the product, they can get more support from users.

The OnePlus 11 has arrived in China in three options: 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These models are priced at 3,999 Yuan (~$580), 4,399 Yuan (~$638), and 4,899 Yuan (~$711), respectively. It comes in black and green shades.

The OnePlus 11 has a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED LTPO 3.0 display that produces a Quad HD+ resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and Dolby Vision. It is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It is an IP54-rated device with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back.

The Chinese edition of the OnePlus 11 runs on the ColorOS 13-based Android 13 OS. Its global edition, which will be released on February 7, will run OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset powers the device. It ships with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. For selfies, it has a 16-megapixel front camera, and its back panel has a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 48-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 32-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera system.
