Samsung has quietly unveiled the Galaxy A14 5G just before the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 tech exhibition. As compared to the predecessor model, the Galaxy A13 5G, the A14 offers a couple of improvements in departments like screen resolution, a new chipset, a new selfie camera, and the latest OS. The A14 will be released in the US this month, and it is expected to arrive in Europe in April.

Instead of the 5-megapixel front camera, the Galaxy A14 5G features a 13-megapixel selfie snapper. On the back, the device has a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The power button located on the right edge of the device doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.

The official listing of the Galaxy A14 5G does not mention the exact name of the chip that powers it. However, it appears that the A14 heading to the US will have the Dimensity 700. The A14 heading to Europe may feature the all-new Exynos 1330. The A14 offers 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a microSD card slot for more storage.

The Galaxy A14 5G is Samsung’s first phone to come preloaded with Android 13 OS and One UI Core 5.0. The device will get OS updates for two years and security updates for four years.
