Samsung is finally rolling out the Android 13 OS update for its Galaxy A51 5G smartphone model in the US. The company is bringing the major upgrade with its One UI 5.0 custom skin. So here are all the details.

The South Korean tech giant’s is bringing the Android 13 OS update, but only to the unlocked versions of the phone in the US market. This is great news to Galaxy A51 5G users since the company brought the update in just two months. Apart from the unlocked versions, Verizon and Xfinity Mobile customers are the only ones that are getting the update, while other carriers should soon bring the update in the arriving weeks as well.

While the update brings the latest version of Android to the smartphone, it doesn’t offer the most recent security patch with this upgrade. At the moment, users of the Galaxy A51 5G on any of the US networks can check if they have received the Android 13 update, which has the firmware version A516U1UEU8FWA4. The new update brings various changes and improvements in the software of the device.

So users can now expect to see changes in design as well as improvements in the user interface. There are also new changes like stacked widgets and a Maintenance Mode. Some of the more recent Samsung phones have already received the One UI 5.1 update, although, it is unclear if older models like the Galaxy A51 will also get this software update.
