iQOO is gearing up to launch the iQOO Z7 series of smartphones in India and China. The Indian division of the company said last week that the iQOO Z7 5G, which is powered by the Dimensity 920, will be announced on March 21 in India. Today, the Chinese wing of the company confirmed through its Weibo handle that it will unveil the iQOO Z7 series at 7 pm (local time) on March 21.

Reports have claimed that the iQOO Z7 lineup has three phones, such as the iQOO Z7i, iQOO Z7, and iQOO Z7x. The Z7i has already gone official as the first-ever phone powered by the Dimensity 6020 chipset. According to earlier reports, the iQOO phones with model numbers V2270A and V2272A that were recently seen at the 3C certification platform will be called the iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7x, respectively, when they hit the Chinese market.

The above images give the first look at the iQOO Z7 (Chinese variant). As can be seen, the Z7 will arrive in color options, such as orange and blue. The back panel of the device has a dual-camera setup with OIS support. The company has also confirmed that the Z7 will support for 120W fast charging. In all likelihood, it will debut as the most affordable 120W charging phone.

Rumor is rife that the iQOO Z7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 782G chipset and a 5,000mAh battery. The iQOO Z7x is likely to come equipped with the Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 6,000mah battery, and 80W charging. It appears that the company will also confirm the iQOO Z7 and Z7x in the coming weeks.
