Huawei announced multiple premium products at the Huawei P60 series launch event in China today. One of them is Huawei MatePad 11” 2023.

As the name suggests, it is the company’s 2023 edition of its 11-inch premium tablet. Unlike previous generations, it comes in two variants, one with regular glass and the other with matte glass.

The new Huawei tablet is built around an 11-inch LCD  screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 275PPI. 

The display is covered by either regular glass or matte glass. The latter version offers a paper-like experience by sacrificing contrast levels. This variant has no reflections on the screen and provides a better stylus experience.

Further, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and boots HarmonyOS 3.1. It draws power from a 7,250mAh battery with support for 22.5W wired charging.

The tablet houses quad speakers powered by Huawei Histen 8.0 sound effects. On the connectivity front, it comes with dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C.

For optics, it uses a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera on the side bezel. Last but not least, it measures 7.2mm in thickness and weighs about 480g.

The Huawei MatePad 11” 2023 will retail at the following price tags in China.

Regular Glass

  • 6GB + 128GB – ¥2,299 (~$335)
  • 8GB + 128GB – ¥2,499 (~$365)

Matte Glass

  • 6GB + 128GB – ¥2,699 (~$395)
  • 8GB + 128GB – ¥2,999 (~$440)

It is already up for sale in the country. Customers can avail it in either Obsidian Black, Island Blue, Crystal White, or Streamer Purple color options.
