Xiaomi recently announced the release of its first-ever intelligent speaker designed specifically for children aged 3-6 years. The Xiaomi XiaoAI Speaker Kids Edition is a smart speaker that provides a wide range of educational and entertaining content for children. The device is now up for sale in China for 299 yuan ($43).
The Xiaomi XiaoAI Speaker Kids Edition has been designed to be durable and withstand daily use and falls. It features a cute and lovely design with four knobs/buttons for easy operation and comes with four stickers that children can use to personalize their speaker.
In terms of functionality, the speaker offers a rich selection of content, including stories, English lessons, and knowledge resources, providing children with an enlightening and engaging learning experience. The content is curated and designed to be appropriate for children of the target age group.
The speaker supports offline playback and network disk applications, allowing children to access their favorite content even without an internet connection. It has 32GB of storage and a large battery capacity that provides 10 hours of continuous use.
The Xiaomi XiaoAI Speaker Kids Edition also features built-in Xiao AI Classmate Children’s Edition, a customized version of Xiao AI Classmate that offers green-filtered answer content, ensuring that the content is appropriate for children. The voice recognition feature has also been optimized for children’s pronunciation and enunciation, ensuring that the speaker can understand what children say correctly.
Parents can interact with their children’s voice messages using the XiaoAI speaker app, even when they are not at home. This feature allows parents to stay connected with their children and monitor their activities on the speaker.
