Xiaomi is poised to release its top-of-the-line smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, in China on April 18th, 2023. Additionally, the CEO of Xiaomi has confirmed that the device will soon be launched in overseas markets. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to set a new benchmark in smartphone photography, building on the success of the Leica collaboration with Xiaomi that was evident in the Xiaomi 13 Pro. With the forthcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the brand will be taking this collaboration even further.

Prior to its official launch, an alleged live image of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra flagship device has been leaked online. Although the picture is slightly blurry, it provides a glimpse of the camera module’s shape, which appears to be circular and houses four separate camera lenses as well as a dual LED flashlight. The image also reveals that the device may feature a leather back. On closer inspection, it is possible to discern the volume and power buttons on the right-hand side of the device, neatly aligned.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera with variable aperture support. Additionally, the device is rumored to have auxiliary lenses including a secondary ultrawide lens, a tertiary telephoto lens, and a quarternary periscope lens. While the exact technical details of the cameras have not yet been confirmed, this setup is expected to provide users with an exceptional photography experience.

The device’s pricing was also leaked previously, revealing that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be available in three configurations: 8GB+256 GB, 12GB+256 GB, and 12GB+512GB. These models are listed with their respective pricing of 6,299 Yuan (roughly $916), 6,799 Yuan (roughly $990), and 7,499 Yuan (roughly $1,090). Please keep in mind that these are not official prices. There could be other variants of the device as well.

As for the specifications, the device is rumored to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. It will further flaunt a 6.7-inch E6 AMOLED LTPO Quad HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
