Yesterday, Google announced the Pixel 7a at its annual I/O Developer conference. The smartphone’s pricing, availability, and offers for the Indian market have been revealed earlier today. The Pixel 7a arrives as the successor to the last year’s Pixel 6a with some notable upgrades.

The Google Pixel 7a is priced at Rs 43,999 in India. The pricing is the same as its predecessor. HDFC Bank cardholders will be eligible for an instant discount of Rs 4,000. This will make the smartphone available for Rs 39,999. There is an additional exchange bonus of up to Rs 4,000 on the base value of an old smartphone. Customers purchasing the Google Pixel 7a can also avail of either the Fitbit Inspire 2 or Google Pixel Buds A TWS earphones at Rs 3,999. Google is also bundling a three-month YouTube Premium and 100GB Google One storage with the purchase of the Pixel 7a. 

The Google Pixel 7a is exclusively available for purchase from Flipkart starting today. It is offered in Sea, Charcoal, and Snow colors.

The Google Pixel 7a comes with a 6.1-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It retains the horizontal camera bridge design from its predecessor. The pill-shaped camera cutout houses an OIS-enabled 64MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The smartphone is IP67-rated dust and water-resistant. 

Internally, the Google Pixel 7a is powered by a Tensor G2 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is backed by a 4,386mAh battery unit with support for 18W wired and wireless charging. The device runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.
