OnePlus is apparently gearing up to launch the Nord Buds 2R in the Indian market soon. But ahead of an official announcement, the launch timeline of the upcoming truly wireless earbuds has been leaked. So let’s have a look.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2R could be a cut down Nord Buds 2 variant
Previously, we had reported on the Chinese smartphone maker’s Nord Buds 2R being spotted on the SIRIM database and the beginning of its serial production. Furthermore, it is believed to be follow the same strategy as the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R, which is a cut down version of the Nord Buds Pro 2. In other words, we can expect the Nord Buds 2R to be slightly different from the Nord Buds 2. These hearable models featured Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Bluetooth 5.3, Dolby Atmos support, and up to 36 hours of battery life.
Meaning, we can expect the device to feature some of these specifications and if the Nord Buds 2R are more affordable, so it might drop the ANC feature. Now, according to Mukul Sharma, the Indian launch timeline for these earbuds have been tipped. We already know that OnePlus is gearing up to launch the highly anticipated Nord 3 smartphone in the region, and he claims that the Nord Buds 2R will be launching alongside this device.
Unfortunately, the tipster did not reveal any finer details or the exact launch date for the upcoming products.
