In May, a Vivo phone with the model number V2241HA was discovered in the databases of the Google Play Console and China’s TENAA certification platform. It was later revealed that this device would be named the Vivo X90S upon its release in the Chinese market. The aforementioned listings revealed that the Vivo X90S would feature an upgraded chipset for improved processing speed while maintaining identical specifications to the Vivo X90. Recently, tipster Bald Panda shared details on the differentiating factors between the Vivo X90S and the X90.

As per the information shared by the tipster, the Vivo X90S is expected to offer incremental upgrades compared to the X90. While the X90 is equipped with the 3.05GHz Dimensity 9200 SoC and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, the upcoming Vivo X90S will feature an enhanced 3.35GHz Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset and the latest Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Additionally, while the X90 is available in black, white, blue, and red color options, the leaked information suggests that the X90S will introduce a new green variant to its color palette.
