Samsung recently confirmed that the company will be hosting its next Galaxy Unpacked event in its home country South Korea. Now, the company has revealed the launch date.
The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event from Samsung will take place on 26th July at 07:00 AM ET. The poster shared by the company also teases the next-generation foldable smartphone from the brand.
The Galaxy Unpacked launch event will be live-streamed on Samsung’s official website as well as on its YouTube channel. Apart from the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones, the company is also expected to launch a few other devices at the event, including the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series, tablets, and earphones.
As for the phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to be an incremental update with a slightly smaller and lighter design, a more durable hinge, and an improved user experience. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to come with a larger front-facing display and a more powerful processor.
The South Korean tech giant is also offering pre-order reservations for the foldable smartphones, offering a $50 credit when the customer places a pre-order. The reservation window will be open starting tonight through the 25th of July.
