Huawei LINKY Healthy Crutches with built-in three-axis gyroscope, LCD screen & app integration launched

Huawei Mall has introduced a new product called LINKY Healthy Crutches, which is now available for public testing at a price of 358 yuan ($50). These smart crutches have received certification from Harmony Connect, indicating their compatibility with Huawei’s smart ecosystem.

These crutches feature a non-porous design and support step-less height adjustment with a precision of 0.1mm. They are constructed using aerospace aluminum alloy, making them lightweight at only 428g while capable of withstanding vertical pressures of up to 100 kg. Additionally, they come with a built-in hook for weighing up to 20 kg and have non-slip materials on the bottom four legs for enhanced stability.

The LINKY Healthy Crutches are equipped with a built-in three-axis gyroscope, enabling them to detect and report the daily weight borne by the crutches. They can also detect sudden increases in “weight bearing” or “jitter rate” and provide reminders to users to seek timely medical examination if necessary.

The product design of the LINKY Healthy Crutches includes an LCD screen that displays information such as the exercise plan, time, and instantaneous jitter rate. Another notable feature of these crutches is the inclusion of a dynamic warning taillight. By pressing the “HELP” round button located at the tail, users can activate an alarm call sound for assistance.

Furthermore, the crutches allow for the input of information about the elderly, although this is not mandatory. By doing so, the system’s intelligent algorithm can generate a customized sports plan exclusively for the elderly.
