Samsung has a new budget-friendly device in development called the Galaxy A05. It will be the successor of the Galaxy A04 which launched in August 2022. The device was recently spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance, and now, it has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification database.

The Bluetooth SIG certification confirms that the smartphone with model number SM-A055F/DS is indeed the Samsung Galaxy A05. The certification listing only discloses Bluetooth v5.3 support for the device, with no additional information provided about its other features or specifications. Based on the previous certification, it was disclosed that the upcoming device will launch with Android 13 and offer support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. We can get an idea of what to expect from its successor by looking at the Galaxy A04.

The Samsung Galaxy A04 has a 6.5-inch display with an Infinity-V notch and HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it runs on Android 12 OS with One UI Core 4.1, powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and offers 64 GB or 128 GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card.

It has a 5-megapixel front camera and a dual-camera system on the back with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with an LED flash.
